This group is designed for people 21+ who have an interest in in music that is played in a Big Band Format in addition to other live musical ensembles that do not require excessive electronic amplification. I started the group because I want to bring people together who are interested in attending Big Band shows and other live musical events throughout the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and New York.

The mission of the Millennium'04 Big Band is to preserve the essence and promote the aesthetics of American Classical Music through education and its performance idiom. The heart and soul of this band has a message to carry the legacy and innovations set by the elders of America's classical music art form.

LaB is a weekly lindy hop and blues dance practicum held in Center City Philadelphia. Every Tuesday night, we provide a free group lesson (no partner necessary) followed by a three hour practicum including social dancing to swing and blues music. For more information, go to http://lindyandblues.com
